6 brothers!

>> Friday, April 30, 2010

Just thought I would share that my stepdaughter Samantha will be having a 6th brother now. Sam's mom is also having her 3rd boy! Sam is not happy to be having another brother.

I am hoping when Brad and I have another child we finally have a girl. I would be estatic to have a daughter, and Sam would be so happy to have a sister.

Brad and I will be starting to TTC sometime this summer. My Dr. told me that if I plan on having another child I should do so soon, due to health problems I have. I was going to wait a bit longer before TTC another baby, but I guess it will have to be sooner rather than later. I just hope we are blessed enough to be able to conceive, and have a healthy baby, and not another miscarriage.

Here is my entry for I heart faces - Smiles.  This is my first time entering a photo. It's my 2nd attept because I guess I didn't enter the permalink right, and it was deleted. I hope it worked this time! The photo is of my oldest son Bradley when he was 14 months old.

Picture Day

>> Thursday, April 22, 2010

Today was picture day for Bradley & Parker at preschool. Bradley & Parker both promised me they would smile nice, and be good. As soon as Bradley arrived home from preschool today he ran to me, and told me how he had smiled real nice, and 2 times. I am really looking forward to seeing both Bradley and Parker’s pictures. I am predicting that Parker’s school picture won’t have a happy smile though. Parker has been smiling with a forced, gritted teeth type of smile, when instructed to smile. I always have to catch Parker off guard to get a good happy picture of him.

But anyway, since Bradley & Parker had their pictures done today, I figured I’d take a few of Dustin too. He is my little ham!

One word… Exhausted!!

>> Saturday, April 17, 2010

On Friday Brad picked up Samantha for her first ever over night stay with us. Sam was super excited, and was happy to be here. Our boys and Samantha ran around like crazy kids. Anyone would have thought all that running around and playing would have worn the kids out. But…. No such luck. It wasn’t until midnight that the kids were all finally sleeping. I was beginning to get frustrated with Samantha. Bradley had already fallen asleep, and she woke him up several times. Then I heard her over the baby monitor telling Parker that she was going to put a “bugger” between Bradley’s eyes so that he had 3 eyes. That did not sit well with me. That is down and out right gross. My boys ages 4,3, and 2 don’t ever do things like that! I figured Sam wouldn’t either since she is 9.

But anyways once all the kids were asleep, I went to bed. It was probably about 1am or later until I was finally able to sleep though. I had Dustin in bed with Brad and I, and of course Dustin had an accident and wet the bed. Not only did he wet the bed, but did it right where I had to sleep. Lucky me! So I had to change the sheets, and put new clothes on Dustin.
At around 5:45 AM… yes that’s right 5 in the morning I heard Samantha waking up Bradley and Parker. The sun wasn’t even up all the way, and now I had 3 kids awake and carrying on. I woke up Brad, whom was a complete grouch, so I just gave up and dealt with everything on my own. I took the kids and gave them breakfast, and they played the Wii. At 10am I woke up Brad, and was sooo happy to have him wake up. I was tired, and wanted him to help. I had all the kids ready, and dressed so Brad got ready and we took the kids to McDonalds. It was so nice having a place where the kids could run and be crazy, and be able to burn off energy.

Brad and I were proud of Dustin at McDonalds. Dustin has been in the play area several times, and has really gotten brave, and great at climbing threw those tunnels. Bradley & Parker at Dustin’s age would never have even thought of going up into the tunnels, and until this day won’t go across the bridge with netting. Dustin zoomed across that bridge today, and even went down the slide backwards lol.
It was nice to be able to spend some real time with Samantha though. I am glad everyone is getting along now. I will say though, it was a lot more work than with just my 3 boys. I wouldn’t have thought one extra kid would make much of a difference, but it did. It was a lot more work for me! I guess that’s OK though, kids are worth the work. I just look forward to going to bed tonight lol. I’m exhausted!

April's party

>> Monday, April 12, 2010

Yesterday was my niece Aprils 8th birthday party. My brother had her party in his new back yard. It was awesome! They have a small creek that runs threw their yard that the kids had a blast playing in, and refilling their water guns over and over. Of course I really wish they would not have been wearing their new expensive shoes! Dustin was the only one who listened to me about NOT getting wet in the water.

For Aprils party I made her a cat cake. She really loves her cat Midnight, so I made Midnight on the cake, and April loved it. I was so happy that she liked her cake. Well here are some pictures!

Yesterday

>> Thursday, April 8, 2010

Yesterday was surprisingly a very nice day. We had planned the day prior to pick Samantha up after school and take all 4 kids to the park, and then out to dinner. They all had fun playing at the park.. Except for Dustin. Dustin didn’t really do much, and stood around with a ticked off look. He was tired, hot, and grouchy! About 15 minutes before we left the park he finally changed his mind and played on some things. After the park we took the kids to Wendy’s and had dinner. It all worked out sooo well. It isn’t often that we get to spend time with Samantha as a family, and it was nice. She is a really sweet little girl.

Today on the other hand has started off pretty rotten. I started feeling sick last night, and now feel like I have the flu. I feel horrible! I hate having that “I am going to puke my guts up” feeling.

Oh and one more thing before I end this blog.. Brad and I found out that Sam’s mother is pregnant again. Right now Samantha’s mother is living with her mom, with 3 kids in a small apartment above the garage business they run. Brad and I were pretty ticked off to find out that not only is she having another kid, but now Samantha has to sleep on a couch, and the stability of the whole situation really stinks.

Well anyways.. Here are the pictures from yesterday. I’ll post again later when this horrible sick feeling goes away.

Easter

>> Tuesday, April 6, 2010

The Easter bunny was very good to all 3 boys.
Photobucket

Bradley was happy about everything the Easter bunny had brought for him.
Photobucket

Parker was happy too, just tired.
Photobucket

Bradley can't wait to go fishing, and wear his new fishing hat.
Photobucket

Dustin just wanted to eat his candy!
Photobucket

The boys had 2 Easter egg hunts, one inside, and one outside. They had a blast!
Photobucket

Bradley showing off his basket of eggs.
Photobucket

Parker searching for more eggs. He found the most.
Photobucket

Dustin didn't do too well at finding the eggs, but he sure did have fun.
Photobucket

"Look mommy, I found some eggs!!"
Photobucket

Parker was being a grouch, this was the best picture I could get of him with his basket of eggs.
Photobucket

After they hunted for eggs, all of the boys used their new buble lawn mowers.
Photobucket

Bradley found a huge branch.
Photobucket

Parker thought the branch was pretty cool too.

This pic is of Dustin watching a big bee. He was actually trying to catch it, and was calling it like you would a cat. lol

The reason for the bee's.

Kasey layed outside and watched the boys play. She loved the weather.
