Our boys Graduation

Bradley and Parker graduated from their 2nd year of preschool. I was happy to hear how well they did, and how smart our boys are. The graduation went OK I suppose. Although last year’s graduation was much nicer. It was more organized, and the boys had a really good time. This year’s was a little unorganized, and Bradley & Parker didn’t want any part of it. Bradley reluctantly went up to receive his preschool diploma, Parker wouldn’t even do that. He sat in the grass and cried. His teacher had to come to him and give him his prizes and diploma.

Brad took some video of the boys graduation, and I tried hard to take pictures. Of course Dustin wouldn’t have any of it. The entire time he stood at my feet and cried “mommy, mommmmyyy” while stomping his feet, and holding his arms in the air. UGH!! I was disappointed as to how it all went, and even more disappointed at the fact that the home video from last year was lost. I had video of my happy little boys participating, and having a good time. For some reason, my stupid video camera failed me, and the disk was corrupted. I watched the home video once on my video camera, then when I tried to view it again once the whole disk was full.. Gone! Heartbreaking for mommy!

Not the Easter bunny

>> Thursday, May 20, 2010

Dustin was very facinated watching a wild rabbit in our back yard. I decided to tell my older boys to look too. Bradley took a quick look, then went back to what he was doing. Parker took one look and said "Mommy that's not the right bunny! Where is that big giant bunny who brings candy?" lol. Parker had me laughing. Here is a picture of the bunny that Dustin really loved.

Sam's concert

Samantha had a concert for school this past Tuesday. Brad & I bought a bouquet of flowers for Brad to give to her after the show. Sam was SO happy to receive the flowers from her dad. She was a little reluctant to give him a hug though, because her mother was watching. But she was so happy she gave Brad a big hug and thanked him.

Faces & Flowers

>> Monday, May 17, 2010

Here is my entry for I heart faces. I took this picture last summer of my son Parker. I have always loved this picture of him. He was having a good time posing for pictures, and playing with the flowers.

That’s not water in the dog bowl...

>> Friday, May 7, 2010

This afternoon my oldest son Bradley, came running to me to tell me to look in our dogs bowl. The dog bowl is one of those raised feeders, so your dog doesn’t have to slouch down to eat. Well anyway, apparently it also works well as a urinal for my two year old son. It must have been the perfect height for my little man to just take a quick leak into. When Bradley announced what he had found, Dustin already knew he was in trouble. Before I could even get into the kitchen to see what was in the bowl Dustin had run to the step (where they have time out) and sat his little bottom on time out. I couldn’t help but laugh at the yellow water in the dogs bowl. I figure if I don’t laugh at some of the bad things my kids do, I will lose my mind. I must find humor in some of it.

For example the flood that took place in our one and only bathroom thanks to Dustin, and an entire roll of toilet paper. Not to mention a few weeks prior one of the boys had opened a bathroom cabinet near the bathroom door and somehow wedged the bathroom door shut. Daddy had to take the door all the way off the hinges just to get the bathroom door opened.

My boys are always getting into something. But I have found that it is usually always Parker, and Dustin. My oldest boy very seldom gets in any type of trouble. I am not sure why the younger two are always looking for things to get into.
